Why Nura Player?

A guide that keeps up

Scroll through the hours without stutter. Press OK to preview a channel, OK again for full screen.

Pause and rewind live TV

Stop a live channel, jump back, carry on. Short gaps in the stream are handled quietly.

Catch-up

Missed it? Pick a programme from the guide and watch it from the start, up to 7 days back.

Search

An on-screen keyboard made for the remote, with voice search and results that update as you type.

Multi-view

Watch several channels on one screen. Each tile starts only when you pick a channel, so it opens fast.

Movies and series

A banner with trailers, clear detail pages and a resume button that remembers where you stopped.

Favourites and habits

Star your channels, jump back to the last one, and see what you usually watch at this hour, kept on your own device.

Made for real remotes

Works with Android TV and Google TV remotes, with a mode for Formuler boxes and their colour buttons.

Download Nura Player

Installing on your TV box?

Open the Downloader app on your box and type this address:

Then choose Install. The app is about 12 MB, works on Android TV, Google TV and Formuler boxes, and checks for updates by itself.

Questions

Does Nura Player come with channels?

No. Nura Player is a media player. It does not include or provide any channels, films or series. You add your own playlist or subscription and Nura Player plays it.

What do I need to start?

An Android TV, Google TV or Formuler box, plus the sign-in details or playlist link from your provider. A simpler phone and tablet version is also available.

Is there a free trial, and what does it cost afterwards?

Every feature is open for 7 days from the moment you add your first playlist. After that the app keeps working in its free version, or you can unlock everything with a one-time payment of £15 for the device. There is no subscription.

Does it need a VPN?

That depends on your provider. Some only allow connections through a well-known VPN app. If a channel will not play, ask your provider and try a different VPN server.

Can I keep my favourites on a new device?

Yes. The app can back up your favourites, history and settings to your account and restore them on another device.

Something is not working. What should I try?

Restart the device, check your connection, and try with and without your VPN. If it still fails, contact your provider and tell them the exact message you see and the time.
