Nura Player

Terms of use

Last updated 12 October 2026

In short: Nura is a media player. It does not provide channels, films or subscriptions. You bring your own playlist and are responsible for having the right to watch it. Nura Pro is a one-time unlock for up to five of your own devices.

1. What Nura is

Nura Player (the app, the websites nuraplayer.uk and nuraeditor.org, and the licence service behind them) is software for playing media from playlists that you supply. We do not provide, host, sell, recommend or have any connection with any channel, stream, film, series or subscription that you load into it.

2. Your content

3. Free version, trial and Nura Pro

4. Payments

Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. See our refund policy.

5. Updates

The app can check for and install updates by itself. We may change or remove features, and we may stop offering the app, with reasonable notice where we can.

6. Service and availability

Nura needs your own playlist and internet connection to play anything, and the licence and guide services need our servers to be reachable. We aim to keep them available but cannot promise they will always be.

7. Our responsibility

Nura is provided as it is. We take care over it, but we cannot promise it will be free of faults or will work with every device, provider or playlist. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited. Subject to that, our total responsibility to you for anything connected with Nura is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for lost profits, or for problems caused by your playlist or provider.

8. Ending

You can stop using Nura at any time. We may end a licence or account that is used in breach of these terms (for example shared beyond five devices or used to infringe copyright).

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows when. If you keep using Nura after a change you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and nothing here takes away any rights you have under the law where you live.
