How to add an IPTV playlist (M3U or Xtream) to Nura

Nura is a player: you bring your own playlist from your IPTV provider. This guide shows what to collect from your provider and how to enter it on your TV box, phone or tablet.

What you need from your provider

Nura does not supply channels, so first you need the details of a service you are entitled to use. Your provider will have given you one of these:

  • An Xtream Codes login: a server address (for example http://example.com:8080), a username and a password.
  • An M3U playlist link: a web address that ends in .m3u or contains get.php. It may also come with a separate TV guide (XMLTV) link.
  • A MAG portal address, used with a MAC address, if your provider works that way.
  • Or you may have an account at nuraeditor.org, which lets you sign in by pairing with a code.

Add it in the app

Open Nura. On the log-in screen you will see four tabs: Xtream Login, M3U Playlist, MAG portal and Pair with Code. Choose the one that matches what your provider gave you.

Xtream Login

  1. Choose Xtream Login.
  2. Type the server address, your username and your password. Include http:// or https:// and the port number exactly as your provider wrote them.
  3. Press Connect. Nura loads your channels, movies and series and, where your provider supplies it, the TV guide.

M3U Playlist

  1. Choose M3U Playlist.
  2. Paste the playlist link. If your provider also gave a TV guide link, add it in the guide field; it is optional.
  3. Give the playlist a name if you like, then press Connect.

MAG portal

Choose MAG portal, enter the portal address, and give your provider the MAC address Nura shows (or type the one they gave you).

Pair with Code

Choose Pair with Code. Nura shows a six-digit code. Open your account page at nuraeditor.org and enter the code there to sign this device in without typing a long address on the remote.

Typing on a TV remote is slow. If you have a phone, the Pair with Code route is the easiest way to get a long playlist address onto a TV box.

Xtream or M3U: which is better?

Both play the same channels. An Xtream login is usually simpler because the app can ask your provider directly for the channel list, movies, series and guide. An M3U link is one big file, so the TV guide often has to be added separately. If your provider offers both, choose Xtream.

If it will not load

  • Check the address. A missing http://, a wrong port or a stray space is the most common cause.
  • Check the line is active. An expired or suspended line will refuse to log in.
  • One connection at a time. Many providers allow only one or a few devices at once; stop other players using the same line.
  • Try again later. A provider's server can be busy or down for a while.
  • Still stuck? Read the help guides or ask on our Discord.
